When will we be getting Switch Successor announcement?

2023 is fast approaching(it will be in 10 weeks as of writing this that we will get the countdown to 2023) which also serves as the 5th year that the Switch will be on sale for, so the question is on everyone else's lips

When will Nintendo announce their next console?

Let's look at it via console releases in Nintendo's past(Japan and US release only)

NES: 1983(Japan), 1985(US)

SNES:  1990(Japan)[7 years after NES], 1991(US)[6 years after NES]

N64: 1996(Japan)[6 years after SNES], 1996(US)[5 Years after SNES]

Gamecube: 2001(Japan, US)[5 years after N64]

Wii: 2006(Japan, US)[5 years after Gamecube]

Wii U: 2012(Japan, US)[6 years after Wii]

Switch: 2017(Japan, US)[5 years after Wii U]

Now, it may seem that 5 is the magic number, but when you look at it, the chip shortage is still major(but companies are starting to get their needed chips, but it is predicted that companies might get this until 2024 at the least), and Nintendo saying they won't release anything in this current fiscal year(which ends next March), but that doesn't really matter, as the consoles tend to release in the final quarter of the year(November and December seem to be common months to launch a new console), but given the chip use as seen by this chart

but it doesn't give any concrete information on when this shortage will end for Nintendo, Microsoft, Valve and Sony(as well as basically everyone else jumping on the bandwagon in the last 4 or so years, as we have the Amico[which is still in developmental hell] and ALL the classic port machines happening)

If I were to make a guess on how long it will be until we get any news, I imagine it might be E3 2024 or E3 2025 that it gets announced(as I do not see it being in any random Direct, I see it being in E3, as that is one of the biggest gaming events of the year), but I am willing to be wrong, if it is during E3 2023 that we get news I will get pleasantly surprised. Star Detective Rundown: silhouettes/names

  Hello and welcome back to Star Detective Rundown. This actually goes into 2 different things, one I forgot to mention when it happened But first… The above is from a online store which has gotten in contact with a supplier ahead of the toys release and have given listings for the next season… mentioning the Cures, Cure Answer, Cure Mystic and Cure Arcana Shadow? Weird… anyhow, more recently… The above is the silhouettes of the Cures, which seem to match the cards from the gummy leak.. we don’t know which Cure is which(we think Arcana Shadow is the black Cure), but if Answer is the pink or Purple is yet to be revealed. Star Detective Rundown: theorycrafting #1

  Hello and welcome to what’s technically the first Star Detective Rundown post… First off the name, Star Detective…now this may be seen as kinda crazy… but what if there’s going to be an official link with another Toei show of 2026… Chou Uchuu Keiji Gavan Infinity. Both shows have names that are relatively linked to each other. As for other theories, I believe that we may see a student council president lead Cure for the first time in 12 years and that there’ll be a initial 4 Cure with a mid-season, perhaps a villain-turned-Cure.
