Wanderful rundown: episode 3: "Don’t say it, it’s Baaaad"

Welcome back to Wanderful Rundown with "Don’t Say It, It’s Baaaad", episode 3

For a recap of last week, after the battle an argument between Komugi and Mey Mey breaks out, later some exposition Iroha then lets the GaruGaru name, and then later Komugi became a Cure and the 2 with the ostrich and Mey Mey enter Niko Garden. Onto the episode

After the Toei Animation logo is a brief continuation from the final scene of the last episode, and them entering Niko Garden, Komugi’s reaction and then changing back to her dog form, and Iroha falling in love with Niko Garden, much to Mey Mey’s displeasure, enter OP

After the OP ends(I will tell my thoughts on the OP and 1st ED when the full version is released sometime next month) we get the title card. Then we get introduced to Niko fruits, and a bit of comedy involving Komugi’s human form getting used to how to act like a human, and a vague mention of ‘Niko-Sama’ and the origin of Niko Garden, and how it went dark, and Iroha tries to figure out more about the Garugaru, and more about Satoru, I swear he’ll either be one of the mid-seasons or just an ally who transforms

Back in the real world Iroha runs into Satoru, and then let’s Garugaru slip AGAIN, Iroha your mouth is something that slips so many words. And Satoru is wondering if he can’t be depended on for this, as Daifuku feels something, a Garugaru egg, go to break, after it Satoru takes notes on the egg and wonders what it is, nearly touching it before Daifuku pulls him back

More comedy with Komugi and Iroha as Satoru tries to figure out what the egg he saw was, using a generic search engine.

That morning Iroha and Komugi tries to find the egg, seeing a duck with several ducklings, one of them grey, and then Satoru finds the egg having hatched and turns around to see a Garugaru, who he tries to hide from, but struggles, not letting him get away, then leaves Iroha with no choice but to transform in front of him, then finding out Komugi can speak and turn into her human form as Komugi also transforms. Toei, if you are saying that Satoru will be important later, you are doing a bad job

The Garugaru seems different from past ones and reveals it has a gem beam as Friendly shows her barrier for the first time and tells Satoru what a Garugaru is, he says it must have been a rabbit, mentioning the foot thump, how they are cautious creatures, Friendly approaches the Garugaru and begins the purification process, purifying the Garugaru, revealing it to be one of the fairies, and Satoru reveals to have found out

Mey Mey finds out they saved a Kiarin animal, and then finds out that Satoru now knows, and he found out on his own rather than being told, and he then tells Mey Mey he won’t let anyone know, and offers assistance despite not being a Cure(yet? I still don’t know if he will be a mid-season, but we’re too early to find out), and they all agree to work together, cue ending

The next time for episode 4 shows about Pretty Holic opening up, and properly introducing Yuki and Mayu

Anyhow until next time, this is Cure Ranger, signing off
