Wanderful Rundown: Potential Mid-seasons

 

Welcome back to Wanderful rundown, now here I’m talking about potential of a mid-season, but first, a brief history for those who just joined on with Wanderful, from Futari wa to Yes 5 Go Go, if you wanted to add another ‘Cure’, you had a second season with the cast of the prior one, MAX HEART had the same cast as Futari wa, but added a new story and Hikari, and Yes 5 Go Go had the same cast as Yes 5, but a new story, and gave Milk her human form finally and made her ‘cure adjacent’, this changed in 2009’s Fresh, which had a villain(Eas) become a Cure halfway through, and this has been a series staple ever since, only missing out 2012’s Smile(but given that originally there was just 1 cure that season, I get it), so who is our mid-season, due to each set of 2 Cures having their own transformation device, toy leaks aren’t very helpful(I.e. jabbing a pencil into the device to trick it into thinking a gimmick which isn’t out yet is in it), so we have at our point 4 options

1. No mid-season

2. Satoru and Daifuku are our mid-seasons

3. One of Iroha’s classmates and her pet are our mid-seasons

4. A girl and animal duo that just appear in one episode are our mid-seasons

Now let’s tackle these one-by-one

No mid-seasons

This one is the simplest to explain, it’s just Komugi, Iroha, Mayu and Yuki, no mid-season, this would mark the first time in 12 years that this didn’t happen, and to be honest, knowing what we do about the production of Smile, I seriously doubt it.

Satoru and Daifuku are our Mid-seasons

Now as I asked Reddit, most people seem to say this is what they believe, bringing up how Satoru has a similar role to some past mid-seasons, such as Laura/LaMer in Tropical Rouge. And I believe that this is the most likely one

Now the next 2 involve characters we have yet to meet, so let’s go over both

One of Iroha’s other classmates and her pet will be our mid-seasons

This is what I personally want and I believe that this is actually somewhat likely, it’s what it says on the tin, a classmate who we haven’t met yet is our mid-season. And I believe that if it’s not Satoru and Daifuku, it would be this

Random girl and animal duo will be our mid-season

This one I also see likely, again bringing up links to past mid-seasons such as Aguri Madoka/Cure Ace in DokiDoki. Again what it says on the tin, and in the Reddit post someone did mention it

As I said. I asked Reddit and these were the responses

I really want Satoru and Daifuku, but I don't know if they'll give us another male precure so soon after Wing. I just want the bunny precure honestly, Daifuku would be so cute.

I’m in the camp Of Satoru and Daifuku since the design of daifuku is in the same realm of both komugi and the cat who was introduced to us in episode one of wonderful. Satoru will be great either way as a support character or as a potential cure.

They seem to be leaning in on Satoru and Daifuku, in a similar style to Laura from TroPre, where the mid-season is the early-season mentor, but there's little reason given for why they'd be the mid-season. Hell, the outro is already confusing me, since this would be the first series with threedistinct closing themes, since the first one seems to be designed for Iroha and Komugi.

I do agree on that point

I would really like the boys (Satoru & Daifuku); they have the strongest chance we've seen in the franchise (with both Cure Wing and Dancing Star Precure). But I wouldn't say they're guaranteed, we could always have a random girl appear later down the line (similar to DokiDoki or Healin Good). Or they could do something they haven't done in a while and have none (which would be a first since Smile; though not quite since Lilian and Nyammy will go late-ish)

Well, most people are predicting that Satoru and Daifuku will be the midseasons since they follow the same pattern as the dog/cat duos (last name tying into pet animal, Daifuku has a similar design to Komugi and Yuki).

Personally, I'm hoping the midseason is one of the Kirarin Animals.

The ribbon on the precure pact or whatever it called has pink, blue, green, purple, and yellow. If this is a hint it either we will get only one mid season yellow cure or we’ll get yellow cure who use the same pact as the first 4 and then orange cure will use another transformation item like Milky rose, Luminous and Finale

Given that the Wonderful pact will only be for Wonderful and Friendly….

I'm guessing either Satoru and Daifuku as a midseason duo or no midseason at all.

is there like, any plausible answer to this question at this point besides "it'll either be the boy and his rabbit or no one" ??

We haven’t NOT gotten a midseason since Smile, I just hope it’s a new character

Daifuku is definitely a cure, given the last episode. Satoru might be just a mentor to still play safe about male cures, but I can see him transforming in a movie

Star Detective Rundown: silhouettes/names

  Hello and welcome back to Star Detective Rundown. This actually goes into 2 different things, one I forgot to mention when it happened But first… The above is from a online store which has gotten in contact with a supplier ahead of the toys release and have given listings for the next season… mentioning the Cures, Cure Answer, Cure Mystic and Cure Arcana Shadow? Weird… anyhow, more recently… The above is the silhouettes of the Cures, which seem to match the cards from the gummy leak.. we don’t know which Cure is which(we think Arcana Shadow is the black Cure), but if Answer is the pink or Purple is yet to be revealed. Star Detective Rundown: theorycrafting #1

  Hello and welcome to what’s technically the first Star Detective Rundown post… First off the name, Star Detective…now this may be seen as kinda crazy… but what if there’s going to be an official link with another Toei show of 2026… Chou Uchuu Keiji Gavan Infinity. Both shows have names that are relatively linked to each other. As for other theories, I believe that we may see a student council president lead Cure for the first time in 12 years and that there’ll be a initial 4 Cure with a mid-season, perhaps a villain-turned-Cure.
