Wanderful Rundown: Episode 8: Mayu's Anxious New Semester
After the Toei Animation logo it shows Mayu preparing her introduction to her class while pacing back and forward in her room, afraid of how they’d react, more silly Mayu and Yuki moments and then intro
After the intro ends(also I really have nothing new to say on the intro even now) and title card, it cuts over to with Iroha and Komugi keeps trying to follow her, kinda like in inverse of episode 1, with Komugi making a scene, before Iroha diffuses the situation, then in the class(seems Satoru, Iroha and Mayu will be in the same class, and there’s no visible classmates that are obvious for a mid-series that isn’t Satoru) and Mayu is already showing herself as a nervous wreck(and I’ve noticed 2 empty desks… interesting), and Mayu is already making a mess, as Iroha is allowed to help Mayu around the school, and then with Komugi she turns to her human form(oh this is going to be interesting)and tries to set off for school, as then other students begin to hound Mayu, meanwhile Komugi is making a mess on her way as she keeps smelling things that send her on this wild goose chase which forces her to her dog form as she ends up at PrettyHolic where her and Yuki have this insane incident, then Iroha explains to Mayu the name puns, and then other teams met, with Mayu mentioning about how many friends Iroha has, go to break
After the break ends we cut to the animals all raised at the school and another scene with Satoru as it gives more explanation of her. And then the Cure and 1(maybe 2) future Cures all interact for the first time, but unbeknownst to them, a Garugaru egg was in the school, reveal Garugaru, and then Komugi changes to human form again, revealing to Yuki that she can transform into a human form, then Komugi reaches the school and a mess with transforming in the open, which leads to Iroha dragging her to a corner, go into first duo transformation of the season and the first end of transformation pose, the horse Garugaru enters into a chase(I really haven’t got much to say about these chases after 7 of them), although Iroha ending up on the Garugaru’s back is cool, insert explanation, and the Garugaru rushes to the school, Iroha uses the tact to use the lion ability which gives her the speed needed to keep up, go into finisher(which is just a flashier version of what they used to do), the horse is sent back to Niko Garden
After school more mess involving Komugi, then with Mayu she hugs onto Yuki and then gets ready for bed but not before Yuki goes out onto the window, creating a perfect ending shot, go into ending
And for next time it seems Komugi’s going to get her wish, something football/soccer related and ridiculously cute, and until next time, this is Cure Ranger, signing off
