Kimi to Idoru rundown: theories

Hey.. welcome to a prelude to Kimi to Idoru rundown….

Like I did with mid-season last season(no mid-season sadly), I have asked the community for input on the season…. And here are the theories I have got. Who knows, maybe one of them hit the nail on the head.
Here they are
Considering the name includes word play with ‘you and I’ I’m expecting another duo focus.

Maybe the transformation involves fusion? Like fusing with the fairy to gain power and they have different forms with different partners? Or even a W situation where two girls fuse into one Idol Precure? One can dance, one can sing, together they are the ultimate idol…
Another one(and this is a long one) Some of my personal theories:

Themes and Tropes: Making others dreams come true, embracing your most authentic self, a coming of age/Growing Up story, and Forbidden Romances

The Idol industry is built around giving their audiences a sense of escapism by "selling dreams" to them, I feel a Precure style spin on this would be the team helping the civilians in the town achieve their own dreams, or inspiring them to pursue dreams, as a sort of inverse of Go! Princesses theme of "Striving towards your own goals"

The Idol industry also focuses on manicuring their idols images and they often have to adhere to strict rules such as being unable to date, which I feel can Segway into themes regarding the characters wanting to embrace their true selves, rather than pretending to be something that you're not, or putting on a facade for one reason or another, and the rule of a majority of idols not being allowed to form romantic relationships could pave the way for a Forbidden Romance plot line with at least one of the cures (Bonus points if they make it a Cure×Villain pairing and it leads to said villains redemption)

The coming of age/growing up concept I theorize is how whenever idols leave their groups a big send off concert called "Graduations" and how perhaps the season focuses on the common plot points of those narratives, with the season ending with the girls both graduating from their Idol status and their schools

Something I think would be cool is if we see Miracle Lights debut in the series proper (since I don't think that's been done before but I could be wrong) since they're basically synonymous in function with Idol Light Sticks (you cheer on your favorite idols with a lightstick in their theme colors and you cheer on precure with Miracle Lights to give them an extra boost), if not in the series itself I would at least like to a similar concept in their solo film

I would like to believe that we're getting some return to form in terms of combat next season yet one of the potential rumors is that the cure designs happen to be very intricate and as much as I love detailed designs I have a fear that the designs will be like Delicious Party's in the sense that the character designer will make them very busy and thus put a hamper on the level of dynamism that can be achieved with it

Another one I found, this one actually goes into slightly more details on things.

We'll have two main cures that'll actually be the main focus, two extra cures that'll be there purely for merchandise reasons that barely get any episodes or actual development beyond the basics, and maybe a midseason cure that does something cool and adds to the group dynamic.

Two main cures are strangers initially. Since I saw the black and white hearts I'm going to go on the assumption those'll be the main colours this time around. White (main focus character) really wants to be a big idol and share her love for music with the world. Naïve little thing.

Black, the deutarogonist, just left because of idol world drama (actually caused by the evil gang, The Parappazo Papers). Said gang seeks to cause strife and unrest among humanity because it'll let them more easily take control of the world. A united humanity has too much light energy for them to oppose on their own, but by intentionally spreading lies and fake rumours they cause relationships of any kind between people to break. Relationships broken in this way can be fixed by normal human interaction, but usually it doesn't happen due to the Parappazo's influence.

So when White learns about this broken relationship, she tries to get them to make up and be friends again, it doesn't work. She lures them together to talk, nothing happens. Finally, she tries to sing a song for the two of them, as her singing has helped friends make up before, and it seems to work, until the Parappazo comes crashing the party, declaring "They can't have no nosey brats sticking their noses into business that ain't theirs." and the broken relationship energy forms into a monster, a Rumora (Like, remora, something sucking on the outside of something bigger, and rumour).

White gets knocked around, black snaps out of her stupor, both transform for the first time in a big whooooaaaah moment, defeat monster, all's well and good. Everyone's friends again! Surely now then White can share her dream of becoming a world famous idol with Black and-

"If you think a slightly good voice is all you need to be an idol you're mistaken."

White: 💀

End of Episode 1
