Kimi to Idoru rundown: character designs and Seiyuu

 

Hello and welcome back to Kimi to Idoru rundown, with a few weeks to go, the character designs have leaked as well as some other elements

The trio we will start with are the pink Cure; Uta Sakura/Cure Idol(voiced by Misato Matsuoka), the blue Cure; Nana Aokaze/Cure Wink(voiced by Minami Takahashi), and the purple Cure; Kokoro Shigure/Cure Kyun Kyun(voiced by Natsumi Takamori)

All 3 have been heard before in PreCure, with Misato(Uta’s Seiyuu) literally being in the (as of writing) current season as the voice of Kirarin Rabbit and Torieda. Natsumi was last heard in Delicious Party as the voice of Kome-Kome, but she was also in Tropical Rouge, which is also the last time Minami has been heard in PreCure

The name of the mascot is Purirun(despite there being 2 on the image, there’s apparently just Purirun..)

The official description of the season is…

The main character, Sakura Uta, is a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets the fairy Purirun that has come to search for the Legendary Protectors "Idol Pretty Cure"! Purirun's hometown, KirakiLand has been plunged into total darkness by Darkine, the boss of the Chokkiri Gang. Meanwhile, the sparkles of the townspeople are being stolen by the Chokkiri Gang... it's a huge pinch!

"I want to make it sparkle sparkly! Here is my song!"

With this determination, Uta transforms into the Legendary Protector, "Cure Idol"!

She sings, dances, and gives fan service, making it sparkle no matter how pitch-black it is!

  Welcome back to Kimi to Idoru rundown… it’s showtime! After the Toei Animation logo, it cuts to the same animation from the trailer and then to Uta with her dog walking through Hanamichi town, and founding a peach floating, so she runs down to grab it, thinking it's a real life Momotaro, when she grabs the peach it opens up to reveal Purirun, cut to op. After the OP and title card she runs her way home to Cafe Glitter(run by her parents), with her parents and little sister(Hamori Sakura) all think that Purirun is some inanimate object, and then showing Uta helping out her parents, plus her love of singing, involving a mangaka, all before she realises that Purirun vanished and has appeared on her bed, with the introductions and explanations usual for episode 1, as Purirun explained it came floating down the river to find someone to save Kirakiland, telling Uta she's "Idol PreCure" and then Purirun explains that "Idol Precure i...

Star Detective Rundown: silhouettes/names

  Hello and welcome back to Star Detective Rundown. This actually goes into 2 different things, one I forgot to mention when it happened But first… The above is from a online store which has gotten in contact with a supplier ahead of the toys release and have given listings for the next season… mentioning the Cures, Cure Answer, Cure Mystic and Cure Arcana Shadow? Weird… anyhow, more recently… The above is the silhouettes of the Cures, which seem to match the cards from the gummy leak.. we don’t know which Cure is which(we think Arcana Shadow is the black Cure), but if Answer is the pink or Purple is yet to be revealed. We believe she’s the purple, but we can’t be sure. Anyhow, until next time, this is Cure Ranger, signing off.

Star Detective Rundown: theorycrafting #1

  Hello and welcome to what’s technically the first Star Detective Rundown post… First off the name, Star Detective…now this may be seen as kinda crazy… but what if there’s going to be an official link with another Toei show of 2026… Chou Uchuu Keiji Gavan Infinity. Both shows have names that are relatively linked to each other. As for other theories, I believe that we may see a student council president lead Cure for the first time in 12 years and that there’ll be a initial 4 Cure with a mid-season, perhaps a villain-turned-Cure. I also imagine that there could be links to the same group that Cure Milky was part of, anyhow… until next time this is Cure Ranger, signing off.
