Star Detective Rundown episode 3:Everybody come to the CUREtto Detective Agency

 

Welcome back to Star Detective Rundown. Let's do this

After the Toei Animation logo, the episode opens with Anna helping Jett to clean up the agency, with Pochitan causing Jett to drop a lot of books as Mikuru arrives, go to OP 
After the OP and title card it cuts to the Cures going to the 'rooms', with it seeming that the previous Star Detective(again, wonder who they could be?), cut to Jett being exasperated by what Anna and Mikuru are doing,outside a mystery to the second floor is raised, especially with external stairs, reaching the second floor, they find a map on the wall of a room. Cut to Makoto Mirai itself as they begin going around to get room decor for that as a woman hands over something to Mikuru as Jett mentions about cases with the main goal of stopping the Phantom Thieves Guild, as Anna wonders something to herself aloud, with Jett explaining how the future is always changing(essentially time isn't a linear progression of cause to effect, essentially being a big ball of Wibbly Wobbly Timey Whimey... stuff)[Doctor Who reference count: 3], essentially telling Anna to not work hard at this(why do I feel like this will be a thing later?), as Jett adds that the phantoms are fairies(2 seasons in a row... huh), cut to the villains in their Theatre base(OH I GET IT) with our first non-OP/ED view of Luluka Moria/Cure Arcana Shadow(Who I have 0 idea what her deal is), with the main villain(maybe) having Maestro in his name[Maestro Usonoir](adding to the whole Phantom of the Opera thing the base exudes), as Ageseine(another villain) argues with Nijie whilst Luluka just watches on before Ageseine heads out, cut to the decor place as Anna and Mikuru both get overwhelmed by cuteness from a turtle made of glass(Anna.exe has stopped working/Mikuru.exe has stopped working), as Pochitan nearly makes the situation worse, with it explained, elsewhere it continues as Pochitan panics from the turtle going, case start, the 4 suspects are put together as they begin investigating as Mikuru figures it might be hidden somewhere where it wouldn't get broken as Anna tries among the plushes, where it is, as they begin trying to figure out who is Ageseine in disguise. Starting with the tourist who doesn't speak Japanese meaning the situation is even worse as Jett yet again gets them out of the mess with 'Pre-Kit Gummies, as it fixes the situation by allowing them to understand him, this only works for 3 minutes(RESISTING URGE TO MAKE REFERENCE TO NICE!!!!) Anyhow they continue, with them even understanding the cat, as they figure out who it is, go to ad break 
After the ads it reveals who Ageseine is, due to the disguise thinking the sculpture was a flower, eventually Ageseine runs into Luluka who relays the message to turn the sculpture into a Hanninda, which Ageseine does(OK. Luluka is now even more of an enigma), go to transformation and start of the fight. With Luluka watching the fight. With Usonoir watching, go to finisher which still gives me Abarenoh vibes. 
After the fight and departure of both villains as eventually the thing was done as Mikuru decided that Anna's her first client, as the case is put down as Jett notices how similar they are(I wonder why?), go to ED 
For the next time(Exciting! Our First Client) its their first client, a Mangaka whose manuscript was stolen and replaced by food. Anyhow until next time this is Cure Ranger, signing off.

  Welcome back to Kimi to Idoru rundown… it’s showtime! Star Detective Rundown: silhouettes/names

  Hello and welcome back to Star Detective Rundown. This actually goes into 2 different things, one I forgot to mention when it happened But first… The above is from a online store which has gotten in contact with a supplier ahead of the toys release and have given listings for the next season… mentioning the Cures, Cure Answer, Cure Mystic and Cure Arcana Shadow? Weird… anyhow, more recently… The above is the silhouettes of the Cures, which seem to match the cards from the gummy leak.. we don’t know which Cure is which(we think Arcana Shadow is the black Cure), but if Answer is the pink or Purple is yet to be revealed. We believe she’s the purple, but we can’t be sure. Anyhow, until next time, this is Cure Ranger, signing off.

Star Detective Rundown: theorycrafting #1

  Hello and welcome to what’s technically the first Star Detective Rundown post… First off the name, Star Detective…now this may be seen as kinda crazy… but what if there’s going to be an official link with another Toei show of 2026… Chou Uchuu Keiji Gavan Infinity. Both shows have names that are relatively linked to each other. As for other theories, I believe that we may see a student council president lead Cure for the first time in 12 years and that there’ll be a initial 4 Cure with a mid-season, perhaps a villain-turned-Cure. I also imagine that there could be links to the same group that Cure Milky was part of, anyhow… until next time this is Cure Ranger, signing off.
