Star Detective Rundown episode 5: Star Detective in Trouble
After the Toei Animation logo the episode opens with Mikuru about to head to school from the agency and then sets off as Anna realises how quiet things are, go to OP
After the OP and title card it cuts to Usonoir as Nijie is being called out for constant(I'm assuming off-screen) failures, back at the agency Anna wonders how Mikuru is doing, eventually as the clouds begin to form Anna decided that she'll bring an umbrella to Mikuru(sounds so far like a good candidate for the Detective Hamorin Award)[I'll explain what that is later] and so she sets out, not before Jett hands her two new Pre-Kit charms(one for her, one for Mikuru), and due to how hard I found to follow, I thought of making some kind of dragon+white cat joke around Jett(IFKYK), but decided against it. Eventually Anna was on her way and realised she brought out only one, eventually Anna reaches the school as 2 of Mikuru's friends(one of whom is named Rie) are introduced, as some level of a rift forms(over something really kinda dumb) and Anna running into someone who drops this photo as Pochitan makes Anna's situation worse(seems also a good candidate for the "Why did they write it that way?" award) as more is discovered about who is in the photo as someone who is supposedly in another country has been seen around the area and when her older sister tries to contact where she is, no response(OK, that is just creepy, I wonder... did she fall foul of a particular angel?[Doctor Who reference count:4]{again, I'm so far not escaping Blink}) as Anna offers to help, and instead of telling Mikuru, Anna decided to do this herself(this seems like a recipe for making the situation worse), at the school Mikuru meets with the student council president(another potential Civilian identity for Cure Éclair) as the school chairwoman asks for Mikuru to understand the "Ghost" situation(showing that Mikuru is scared of ghosts, but given the way that people see the term Yurei{lit. Vengeful Spirit}, yeah...), As Anna is on the school grounds, she sees that the Junior High and High are on the same grounds with Anna admitting that she feels like she sticks out and she uses the Pre-Kit Gloss which is JUST USAGI'S DISGUISE PEN, using it to change into the high school uniform... oh hey Minamo(Seriously Anna in the high school uniform looks like Minamo Sorano/Princess Ripple[also Anna's VA plays a minor character in Princession Orchestra]) and finding out a message while Mikuru is also trying to uncover the truth of the ghost on her own(as Anna refused to respond to Mikuru's call), then came the moment of a falling out as Mikuru sees who Anna's looking for as Anna eventually reaches her. After the ads it was revealed that the individual was Nijie in disguise as soon the Cures argue before Nijie essentially reveals that they were both looking for him as he creates a Hanninda from a Statue(one for each swallow) at the school, go to transformation and the start of the fight as the Cures are being thrown around, at the base Luluka is watching, the Cures try the finisher only for it to fail as Anna remembers the legendary Pre-Kit which doesn't open as Pochitan ends up sending the Hanninda's flying back before Nijie retreats with the Hanninda not defeated, it's revealed that it took a lot from Pochitan, go to ED.
For the next time(Miraculous Pre-Kit Mirror Loupe) it is a direct continuation and the Cures redeeming their failure
